Taster Lecture: Sustainibility in Fashion & Creative Industries – Design & Spaces
This course examines how design interacts with spatial environments and broader global socio‑political contexts, with particular attention to sustainability, cultural narratives, and spatial justice. Students critically analyze interdisciplinary concepts such as place‑making, participatory design practices, and regenerative approaches to shaping built and social environments.
Building on these theoretical foundations, they develop a practical project such as an object, prototype, or model—accompanied by a written assignment of approximately 3,000 words. The goal is to bridge theory and practice by equipping students to design thoughtful, context‑aware solutions for real spatial challenges.
We look forward to visit you on our campus.
