Taster Lecture: Sustainibility in Fashion & Creative Industries – Responsibility in Product Management

This course introduces the strategic and operational foundations of responsible product management, with a special focus on sustainability, global value chains, and circular economy principles. Students explore product development processes and quality‑management tools while gaining insight into the frameworks that shape corporate sustainability. Through an 8–10 page project paper, they apply these methods to real‑world challenges, learning how to integrate ethical considerations, lifecycle thinking, and long‑term value creation into product decisions. The course ultimately aims to strengthen students’ strategic and methodological competencies for responsible product development in the creative industries.
